Our Story
Who are we?

We are the “The Compass” formally North Strand Housing Shelter, founded in 2009 by a group of compassionate individuals and local churches. Our mission is to combat homelessness in the Grand Strand areas of Horry County. Since December 2010, with generous private donations, we have been providing shelter and support to those in need.
